We are on the outskirts of Fordingbridge and on the edge of the New Forest

Nige’s Camping, is a small family-run, family and dog-friendly campsite in the quiet countryside, on the edge of Fordingbridge and five minutes from the New Forest. There are just 20 grass pitches onsite for tents and campervans. We are near the river and the Avon valley path. Say hello to the onsite sheep and chickens or play on the climbing frame. It’s the ideal location for a relaxing break but also lots to do nearby. The shops and restaurants of Fordingbridge are five minutes away, with Bournemouth 25 minutes from site! Visit Salisbury or Ringwood which are only 15 minutes away.

Leave the rat race behind and come and enjoy the tranquillity of Nige’s camping. Relax and listen to the bird song or enjoy a leisurely walk straight from the campsite.

Our Rules

We are all for everyone having fun but we do ask that there is no loud music at any time and no noise after 10.30pm. You can arrive anytime after 12pm. No large groups, sorry but we are a quiet family site. Fire pits and BBQ’s are allowed but must be off the ground. Please only bring well seasoned logs or you will not be allowed to use them ! 1 family per pitch please. No more than 2 adults per pitch unless agreed first

Whilst Nige’s camping makes every reasonable effort to ensure peoples safety, you are responsible for your own personal safety and your childrens. Please act responsibly at all times and please provide full supervision to all children.

Fordingbridge, five minutes away, is nestled on the edge of the New Forest, and is a treasure trove of local activities and attractions to suit all tastes. The charming town boasts a variety of shops, restaurants, and pubs, offering visitors a warm welcome and delightful culinary experiences.

You can enjoy the park with its own swimming pool, or have a dip in the river. Nature lovers can explore the walking and cycling trails that weave through the enchanting New Forest (5 minutes).

For those seeking adventure, the New Forest Water Park is a mere ten minutes away by car, providing exhilarating water sports for the whole family. Meanwhile, the nearby city of Salisbury (15 minutes) offers entertainment options like a cinema and bowling alley, along with the stunning Salisbury Cathedral.
